[SINP] Should employer demonstrate recruitment effort if I work on an open work permit?

I have questions on SINP, in particular, OASIS, 3.0 Add job position by the employer

There is guidance mentioning "Additional Notes:
Recruitment through the Hard-to-Fill Skills Pilot requires employers to demonstrate efforts to recruit
domestic workers and provide settlement supports to foreign workers." "
If the job position is for an employee who is not on LMIA-supported work permit OR for a foreign worker
who is not a current employee, you are required to provide proof of domestic recruitment activities,
SaskJobs ID for the position and a completed Employer Supports form. See the Employers Guide to
Printing SaskJobs Order Information for how to print your SaskJobs order information."


Does it apply it to SINP student category? Will my employer need to upload the job posting for a month to show recruiting efforts for the locals for the position that I am working for? (I am on my pgwp)

Yes, The employer needs to be an approved Saskatchewan employer. And it has to be in your field of study. See the link.

• You have a permanent, full-time job offer in your field of study from an approved Saskatchewan employer. The job should be:
  • In an occupation in the National Occupation Classification (NOC) Matrix level "A", "B", "O" or in a designated trade.
  • Related to your field of study and requires post-secondary education.
    • Food and Beverage Servers must apply under the Hospitality Sector Project sub-category.
