My documents are in English, but my friend told me that I still need to get the copies notarized before sending them but I couldn't find the instruction anywhere on the guide. Someone please help me with the answer. Thanks.

I am posting this question again just for clear confirmed reply from those senior who have authentic confirmation, Seniors please confirm

A paper based applicant (SINP OID) need to meet the criteria of FSWP (67 points) or not at the time of submission of his application to CIC????
i am getting different answers so confused, any senior who was not meeting FSWP 67 points criteria and even then got visa can confirm same to clear the uncertainty please.

Any document that is not in English or French must be accompanied by:

the English or French translation; and
an affidavit from the person who completed the translation; and
a certified copy of the original document.
Translations may be done by a person who is fluent in both languages (English or French and the unofficial language). If the translation is not provided by a member in good standing of a provincial or territorial organization of translators and interpreters in Canada, the translation must be accompanied by an affidavit swearing to the accuracy of the translation and the language proficiency of the translator.

The affidavit must be sworn in the presence of:

In Canada:

a notary public
a commissioner of oaths
a commissioner of taking affidavits
Authority to certify varies by province and territory. Consult your local provincial or territorial authorities.

Outside of Canada:

a notary public

I am really confused.. if the document has been notarized and signed by the personnel and it has expiration date stamp on the document, Does it needs to be renewed before sending it to the Immigration??? (since it Year End now)????? Please needs information about this. They said before applying for PR,all documents MUST be up to date.

Notarized them with latest dates. Don't compromise with anything, always think about best possible, otherwise u will get back your package after 3-4 montjs
