Hi AIMS

Thanks for the recap

At the moment myself and a few seniors are also in the same boat and I guess we are ready with the documents which you have specified from Point 1 to Point 7.

As far as my situation goes, I am ready with the Police Certificates as I had applied for FSW 2013. Not sure about the others

We are also not clear about the Settlement Plan and Federal Forms, though I still feel that the settlement plan which I have posted a few pages back holds good. The real problem is there is no body to confirm or deny that. So have to take a risk in submitting the same. If you see the settlement plan itself says, print this and attach it to the online application
Talking abount the settlement plan, is a good idea to review the settlement plan requested for Manitoba, they have a form, basically is letter that show how you are going to integrate to the city, why do you choose this province, how are you going to support your family in order that they integrate succesfully to the province. another point is how are you going to use your resources.

To Sum Up, what steps are you going to take to successfully integrate to the province.

I have a silly question.

What could happen if you submit your online application this January 2014, and you forget to attach a document , the ielts result for example, Do you believe that they allow you to send this document later, or your application is denied and you need to apply later, with a new number of application?

Thank you

Dear Forum members, especially the seniors,
Special compliments to everyone,
January 2, 2014 beckons. We have all been together working to ensure that as the application for SINP 2014 opens, we are all able to submit our online applications.
However, I just need a recap on the checklist of all documents to attach to the online application.
1. Passport biodata (information page) for Principal applicant and all dependants.
2. Birth Certificate for Principal applicant and all dependants
3. Proof of Fund/Bank Statements (Stable for the last 3 months
4. Degree certificate and transcripts for Principal Applicant and spouse
5. IELTS Result (Band 7)
6. Work references from present and past employments
7. Settlement Plan (Though still very unclear about this)

I wish to also be informed on all the forms to complete, especially with regard to the Federal forms, please what is the position update? –Anyone has ideas?

Should there be police clearance certificate at this point of the application?

Please. Is it correct that federal forms would be completed and attached to the SINP online applications?

Thanks for the feedback dear forum members and seniors!
What I did was create an application in the online site , once there the system show you all the forms you need to fill up

If you are currently working for an SK employer then you can apply for the PR right now. But the new regulations start in 2-3 days time. So I would suggest talk to your employer and also give an IELTS at the same time. If your employer agrees then you can go ahead, else you can apply as per the new regulations which require IELTS as a Mandatory document. Also mandatory documents includes your passport pages, employee reference lettes, proof of funds and settlement plan. Also check if your occupation is regulated
Thanks Ram for the reply.
I wonder do I need proof of funds. As I have offer from SK and currently working in SK I don't think I need POF. What do you say?

Hi groupies... little more digging... and I noted on the federal form - Document Checklist IMM5690E @ item no. 15 (which I believe is one of the federal forms that needs to be submitted) that it is not mandatory at this point...

Below is the link where federal forms (for provincial programs) are available...
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/prov-apply-application.asp

canph, jignesh, ram... can anyone vouch me on this one??

Thanks!

There is a PDF called Application Guide for The International Skilled Worke rs Category, Updated December 2 2013.
In this documents says that Police Report Only Apply if you commited some crime and you were rehabilitated.

The police clearance is requested along with your health test by CIC before requesting your passport (4 months before the province grant you the
nomination)

POLICE CERTIFICATE

Forum Members

Would like to discuss on the above topic. Many of you have mentioned that SINP has mentioned that you have to provide a Police Certificate only if you have committed a crime and have a case against your name in the Police Department.

I would like to ask the forum members, if any one of us have a case against us, then why would we want to tell SINP that we have one against us. Wont that be a straight forward rejection in that case.

I dont get it when people say you dont need one. Needing one at a different stage altogether is another topic of discussion

I believe when they update the online application forms, there will be columns and fields which are mandatory and only if you upload mandatory documents it will allow you to navigate to the next screen. Just my guess.

What you mentioned may hold good for paper applications sent by Courier

Hi All,

I am in the process of preparation/collection of supporting documents right now.
Have below queries related to settlement fund:-
1) Would 3 months bank statement be enough for current/saving bank account (because guideline says something about detailed summary of funds also)?
2) Will LIC pension scheme can act as a settlement fund?
If yes, what would be the proof in this case.

Kindly guide.

3 Months bank statement would be enough only if you can have the necessary funds intact for the entire period of immigration. So assuming you are the only applicant then you need to have the equivalent of 11000.00 CAD in INR in your account.

LIC Pension schemes are not valid for proof of funds

Proof of funds would be Savings Account, Term Deposits, Mutual Funds, Post Office Savings, etc

Thanks for the reply!

We would be three applicants so will be needing $19,000.
I can see GIC also in the list of sources whose description is somewhat similar to the one we are having in India as LIC.
Wish it could be one of the settlement funds proof.
Is someone else also confused about this?
