They require at least a 6 months statement with the last moth being not more than 3 months old. The account should show the least funds required by them.
Details of amount of funds required can be found at the CIC website.
Why is your POF less than 2 months? You have not explained your case very well so nobody will be able to guide you clearly.

Dear Arbaz,

Please let us know your source for last 6 months bank statement or POF requirement by SINP ???

I can't find any such requirement anywhere.

Appreciate the link to the sources or any specific cases.

Thanks.

By 'approved' do you mean 'nominated'? If yes, which country did you apply from?

These details are mentioned in CIC documents checklists and application guide.
I had also received this as an answer from SINP in one of my email queries.
There have been cases when shorter periods have been accepted but only after the applicants provided a written explanation.
This is what I know. Rest is upto SINP.

They have not mentioned 6 months requirements anywhere. In there guide, They have mentioned that funds should have to be maintained for atleast last 3 months.
So minimum requirement mentioned by SINP is 3 months statement, maximum can be whatever you want.

You mean Nominated? This would break Dec 2015 - 10 days records.

Probably. I had checked the documents only in last Dec. So I'm following those requirement. If these are recently changed, Im not aware. But CIC does require 6 months as my friends in the process have already received their Visa and are off to Canada.
Can you provide the link of the doc. which says 3 months please..

Hi Experts,

My May application status changed to waiting on applicant.

Since my POF is for less than 2 months, they are asking for explanation for the fund source.

I understand the chances are too less for them to accept that, but since they have requested for additional documents/clarifications I have to try to convince them.

Seniors, please any advise here?

Possible Explanation:

I had these funds with me from some time. But last year a very close friend/family member asked me to lend him some money for his very urgent need. And he returned me this money just before .... months. After that I submitted it in my account and sent you the available statement.

Hope you find a better one.

Thanks

Impossible if you're from May intake.

Well, he will have to show a bank statement reflecting the transaction and back it up with a documented information detailing lending and repayment between him and his friend. The latter isn't a big deal but the former, a hard nut. If he works with or has a link to a micro finance institution/investment house, then the whole thing becomes easy.
In all, he will need to back up any claim he makes with solid evidence (document and records) that those guys will find really hard to puncture.

Agreed with Etfash. The suggestion by hb_rashidy is too casual.

First of all, May 20 submission is impossible. To my knowledge, SINP last intake was live till May 19 (From May 17 to May 19).

Secondly, There is no status as named "Approved". Please, clarify yourself. Also, could you please mention your application number?

Thanks.

confusius is either himself confused or confusing us.

Remember one thing, SINP guys are not stupid. They are the masters in their field. Better you should fill by this/next month again.
