I am a single parent with a seven years old child, can I apply with my child? What is the legal procedure of applying for me and my son.

How exactly are you applying for PR?

Yes, if I apply for PR what would be the procedure for my son? I am a divorced woman.

You would include your son as a dependent in your own application.

Assuming you are approved, you will need your son's father's permission to take your son from your home country and bring him to Canada.

Is there any alternative option if he deny to give permission? or if we unable to find him? actually we don't know where he is, perhaps outside of country.

Do you legally have sole custody of your child?

No, I don't have any legal paper.
Without any legal paper, U cant apply with child.
It's very though.U can take advise by authorize lawyer not consultant.

Get a lawyer in your own country to sort out the legal custody of your child. CIC will want something from the father stating he is allowing the child to leave. If you can't find him, you will have to prove that you seriously tried to find him, could not, and that you have sole custody.

If you do find him, and he refuses to give permission to let the child leave, you can still take the child, but it will be more complicated of course.
