Hi.

Use PA credentials.

I used app number and UCI along with passport number to link.

You must include sponsor and PA in the how many persons included in the app field.

A lot of VO has actually sped up. I'm seeing African VO give DM in 4 months like Nairobi and Dar Es Salaam.

Given the backlog post from CIC was issued in June, and states new apps submitted after the notice won't be part of the backlog clearance, I'm hoping that means apps recieved this year before the notice are part of what they are working on.

really from Africa!!!! :o in 4 months!!! incredible

SVO didnt speed up than last yr., its slowing . :-\

So log in with the sponsored persons CG Key ( my wife) and use their particulars and in my case for my wife and daughter and myself ( sponsor) show 3 total correct?

OK, step by step:

Category: Permanent Resident

Sub-Category :Family Class ( spouses)

Application Number and Family Name: Done

City Of Birth: My wifes (PR Applicant) city as shown on the application

Country of Birth: Thailand

Where intend to Live:

Province:

City:

Current Marital status: Married

Number of family members, including the primary applicant, that are part of this application: So this should be 3? Me ( sponsor) my wife and daughter?

I have tried it all this way ( and other combos always with the same result...no applications found.

Should add this was all done while logged in on my wifes CG KEY

We managed to link the application, so check the number of applicants on the file.

but disappointed to see that security pass not started. How long after submission to SVO, will you get "pass" on security? Also how long after submission to SVO, will you guys order your 1st GCMS note? We are June submission to SVO and I am note sure its good time to order one, we dont want to get disappointed to see nothing started.

Thanks.

That is one of the parts I'm not sure about, is it 3, Me (Canadian citizen sponsor) my Wife ( sponsored person) and my step-daughter? Or is it 2, my wife and step-daughter?

Do you log in under the sponsors CG key or the sponsored person?

I have tried it both ways.

Thanks

Just sent my small pictures to Singapore's P.O box address using EMS.

The post office asked for name. That threw me off so I just wrote CIC Visa Office.

Don't see a name for contact information don't think it matters if it's going to a P.O. box I think.

Put my application # on the outside of the envelope and on a small piece of paper wrote the application #, UCI# and principal applicant full name.

Total cost about 20 USD from Vietnam. Hope they receive it.

Welp, looks like no chance my wife's PR application will be approved in time for the holidays and I really want to visit my family with my wife over Christmas so we just applied for a visitor visa. I've heard there is a high rate of rejection for this when the applicant has a PR application in process, but hopefully since we both live and work in Singapore and are residents here they will trust we'll come back and not overstay. Fingers crossed ::)

if your wife have a letter from her employer stating she's on vacation and will return in x amount of days would make a strong case for to be approved for visitor visa.

My wife got one while her PR was in progress, so did her mom (super visa) after my wife got PR I'm 2 for 2. It's not as high a rejection as you think. Keep in mind that since your wife is Viet, but residing in Singapore, and is not a permanent resident or citizen of Singapore, there's a good chance they will refuse her due to "immigration status", meaning they don't believe she has strong ties to the country she is currently in since she has no permanent status there.

Just found out my wife is pregnant with our 2nd child with our first being born last year. We weren't planning for this and in fact tried to avoid getting pregnant.

So now it complicates our sponsorship process further. I'm guessing the baby will pop out in April with her medical cert expiring in February. Don't think she would be able to fly around those dates too.

I'm hoping for an interview now seeing they haven't even peaked at our application.

Any advice from those that got pregnant while waiting for approval? I'm thinking I should e-mail Singapore VO to inform them of the pregnancy and flying problems around expected date of birth.
