Do you know 100% for sure your interview is waived? Only way to know that is either you get Decision Made, or your GCMS notes say so.

I wouldn't rely on the fact that you got PPR as a sign that it is waived because there are quite a bit of people who get an interview letter despite PPR. They just simply get their passports back with an interview letter and no visa.

Also I agree with ImAbule, I'm quite surprised you only sent in 12 pics on your app, especially given how difficult Singapore VO is and how important a spouse sponsorship application is, one would presumably want to send in the best app they could possibly make.

My wife and I sent 400+ pics, 350 of them were not the exact same, they were done on different days or same days but different events. The other 50 was just on the wedding day alone. It might sound like overkill, but given Singapore's reputation as a difficult VO, we didn't want to take our chances.

Hope you really do have the interview waived, however.
My wife send tota 85 picture +- later on via courier.

I'm truly perplexed as to why SVO would send PPR just to return the passport with an interview letter.

Why not just send the interview request to begin with?
I don't know why either. There was one person, I distinctly remember her showing a photo of an envelope containing her passport + interview letter. The passport had a big white peelable sticker on it that said "Visa not issued - Interview required". It's an image that I can never get out of my head.

My timeline is roughly the same as hungryman. We weren't asked for anything other than the remedical. We sent in a boatload of supporting documents that included 75+ pictures. Considering how we may have had a month or two added due to the remedical request, hungryman had a faster processing time with double requests.

But we can all agree here that any length of time is just too long...

Hold your nerve and buy a plane ticket and stay with your spouse for 6 month from now if possible. By that time you may hear a good news ...... I took a leave of absence from my job in Canada and stayed 4.5 months in Bangladesh with my wife.

I support my wife and child financially, and my work won't grant a leave of absence.

I think that's insane they wouldn't do that. Aren't you entitled to 2 weeks a year?

As soon as my employer knew I was leaving to get married, he didn't hesitate to give me 2months.

I have 4 weeks vacation. I used two of them to visit my wife already.

I've been putting the other two off to either go get her when visa issued or take first couple weeks off when she gets here.

As for unpaid leave, not an option unfortunately. I'd have to quit my job.

We also aren't in a financial position that would make it realistic anyways.

I need to be working my two jobs.

If there's no visa by end of November I'll use the remaining two weeks to visit for our anniversary.
