Hi all, my status in VFS says the following and I hope to get the PP back with Visa attached there within couple of days :

"Visa application, tracking ID No 20140826BDDAxxTxxxxx Your Decision has been dispatched from the Canada Visa Office,DHAKA on{Scandate) to the Canada Visa Application Centre DHAKA. You will get SMS & Email when your Decision will receive at Canada Visa application centre where it was submitted. "

I think the SVO sends all PP in a batch to Canadian High Commission (Canada Visa Office,DHAKA) by Diplomatic Bag and then they re-send those to VFS, Dhaka.

Pray and wish all others get their visa soon.

I will highly appreciate to any member put their the comments that how many days it takes to receive SMS/email after the VFS status change to above ?

You have nothing to worry about. DM either means refusal or visa. And since you have no interview or outstanding issues, it's likely you got the visa. After you get DM, you can never have an interview. Congratulations synthesis!

On-Live Chat line VFS, Dhaka inform me that Transit time for dispatch passport / Decision is 4 working days, on line tracking will change when that will reach at Dhaka VFS. So I will keep an eye on it.

I have seen same status for my sister-in-law on 7th Oct.....

I rcvd her PP on 9th Oct 14....

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to update that my husband picked up his visa and passport today ;D. We are overwhelmed with joy and just feel incredibly blessed. This feels so surreal and we are very thankful for all the members here who've helped us out through the tormenting wait. I congratulate everyone who've come to the end of their journey and are with (or will be soon) the love of their lives And best of luck to those who are starting or in the midst of the process, your time will come as well.

It takes literally a day or so as it did with us I think as soon as it arrives in Dhaka, they notify you to pick it up as soon as possible and at most it takes up to 4 days, due to delays for holidays.

You will be hearing some good news very, very soon Shaw

The visa stands valid until August 2015, that's 10 months. Since my husband has some important official business to take care of at his work place he won't be able to leave until the end of January next year, or else we would have booked it as soon as possible.

wow that's really quick from passport sent, to DM, congrats!

Yes indeed. When we got passport request, they asked us to "please advise if you are able to travel before your medical expires, Nov.2". Of course we did, and even so, were pleasantly surprised with the efficiency. In fact, the entire Singapore process has been wonderful, not so much the Mississauga-Sponsor part. Now we hope to get news asap regarding when to pick up passport at vfs. We also sent email asking them to mark as urgent (for vfs) so her passport doesn't sit in a pile.

I really want to book flight now, for Monday Oct 20... But will wait for the confirmation passport is en-route.
