If you do not get your letter of PPR by postal registered mail within 3 week from the date your case went into In Process then enquire for your mail in your local post office. Because mistype of address by SVO on the mail is pretty common now-a-days.

should i ask my husband to re-do a police clearance now or waite to see.apparently my courrier reached singapore but from that it has no waite of know if its reached the high com or not its not logged on there system so now i have no idea if it has been delivered to singapore highcom.
do u think this will delay my application. it just went into in process.
should i email them?

If I were you, I'd just wait for the request from SVO. Since, you already sent the PC, so I think, you are ok.

Once you get the PPR letter, you can know for sure about the status. YOu can also know from GCMS notes, but now-a-days it is taking more than two months to get GCMS notes..

Just relax, everything will be fine. When did your status change to In Process?

Thank you for replying.
My status did change to in princess 1 week ago. I sent an email to them informing that ill be going back to Canada end of October,and that i sent the police report and my new passport copies because i had to get a new passport. it Was that envelope (via courier apparently doesn't matter) it was that envelope that got lost in Singapore and there's only verification that it arrived in Singapore (from Malaysia that to so just next door) and from Singapore no verification it reached the high com address (robinson road)
So do you figure I should wait for them to request for a police report as i am pretty sure they haven't received the one i sent? Or should i apply now and send anyways (thts the dilemma)
Im not rly sure wat in process means either i guess it means there working on it now? Congrats to u too btw!lets keep tabs i think our timelines are crossing

First of all, just chill buddy! Too much tension only gives stress.

How do you know that sent courier has been lost? Have you found that thru tracking number?

Keep in mind that SVO never acknowledges (via email/snail mail) any document send afterwards. But if the package reaches to SVO, sent documents will be incorporated into your file.

Based on last couple of months trend, "In Process" means that SVO will send a PPR (Passport Request) letter alongside with additional documents, if needed.

ya i checked the tracking number. called the courrier ppl and they can only confirm that its reached singapore but the courrier partner in singapore hasnt logged anything on that envelope not even that its been dropped off. and usually they put final destination on the tracking online . this one it has just reached singapore nothing else.its the first police report btw cuz with my application i sent it simply with the application for police report . i got the police report and so i sent that to cic and i duno now they have no police report if it hasnt been delivered so thats the stress.
your rite too much worries and stress makes it worse. thanks.
p.s my husband got a transfer and were vacating this house by 23rd sept. so im guessing i should have him email them change of address and hopefully letters wont like reach this address wen were 6 hrs away ahahaha. *sigh*

When did you send that parcel? Since, you sent that to the PO box, so there'll be no proof from SVO ( like signature). But Shouldn't your tracking number be showing that parcel has been delivered to that PO BOX?

To save time, your hubby can apply for another Police Clearance, so that you can send that (if requested) with the passport after getting the PPR.

Which mail address have you given for communication? Is that your spouse current address in Malaysia?

PPR mail should not take more than three weeks to arrive. Normally, SVO send the mail on the same day when the status changes to IN Process.

Yes, you can email to SVO for address change but DON'T FORGET to mention about the active date of new address.

thats the address I used to send some of my information, mind u the courrier lost it but thats the address i used. And yea should make sure the UCI number is on it and on the envelope to.
