Hi all just got work my wife needs to do remedical today after 10 months of this waiting game they put us through. Can any one kind of tell us the time line we got to wait till they ask for passport. Thanks

Thank you. Took us 26 months in total!!!! Exactly what it said in the timeline when we applied. Guys, just make sure you include everything possible, cuz if you are put in the interview queue like us. I'm telling you, its a pretty damn long wait.

Yeah for sure, that extra year could generate loads of stress. I wonder, if anyone has a newborn child, would they still put applicants on interview queue? 26 months though! Congratulations benstu :D. When is your landing date???

Hi guys! I have a question regarding outland application. I'm Malaysian married to Canadian in 2001 and we live in Malaysia for 12 years now. We have 2 kids. ( In the process to get their certificate of citizenship). We're planning to move to Canada next year to take care of my mother-in-law and also for my kid's education. I did my degree in Dentistry in Canada from 1997-2001 and only went to Canada once in 2005 for my brother-in-law wedding. We haven't been to Canada since then. My question is, if I want to apply for outland application, what are the chances that my application will be approve? My husband don't have any ties at all to canada except that he has his family there. No bank account, not paying tax there ( since he's paying tax in malaysia), no loan, no credit card, even his driving license expired long ago ( since he can't renew it from malaysia). How are we gonna prove intent to move to canada? He can apply for jobs but who gonna give offer if he can't work right away? The other option is to apply inland. Have to apply for TRV ( since mine was expired long ago) then go to canada and apply from there. I look at the timeline for people applying outland..most of the people get it less than 20 months. Applying inland it will take 19 months now..not so much difference. But i'm scared that if i apply outland it will get refused since he has more ties in Malaysia than canada. Help!! I need your input in providing evidence for intent to move back to Canada.
