I have submitted my application on August 2013 and they previewed on ECAS on aug 16th that my application and medical report has been received.
After 3 months in 19th November 2013, I received a mail that my sponsor has met the eligibility criteria and my application has been forwarded to Singapore for further processing,

Can please someone let me know how much time it will for the Singapore embassy to complete their proceedings ? I am getting really anxious :/
Please I need your suggestions.
28 months.

Wait for few day, CIC will update processing time of Singapore.

Pray, give donation and do good work so that processing time decreases.

Abbas, check the required documents to submit. If you did not submit any document, sent it quickly to singapore visa offcie quoting your UCI. If they find any document missing then they will ask for it and you will be delayed for 4-6 months more.

Can anyone advise what the letter for their remedical said?

Because our instructions don't say to wait 6 weeks after medical to send passport

Did u get remedical instruction along with police certificate, Schedule A and passport request? OR only re-med instruction? Mine said to do only re-med within 60 days..

You will receive instructions about waiting 6 weeks after re-med to send passport soon. We got that letter about 2 weeks after our re-med letter.

Our story gets more interesting ???

Last week we contacted our MP's office... as we have been in process for almost 3 months.
Yesterday they replied and said that there was an internal request to extend our medicals... we explained we had a letter requesting medicals. And she requested a copy of the email and letters we received... She inquired again today and CIC is very confused about whether we need to have the remedicals... We will know by next Wednesday

We called the local panel physician to see how long to get an appointment just in case we need to redo... she asked for our IME number and she checked the system... no number in the E-Medical system so the doctors office doesn't think we need to do them... We think the remedical letter was issued prior to the request for the extension... The remedical letter was issued Jan 22nd, the extension was requested on Jan 21st

Also our remedical letter states we only have 30 days for them to receive...not 60 days.... it is all very bizarre

I was sent an email with only medical re-exam instruction.
Is it normal for them to send medical re-exam instruction without passport request or any other papers/form?
My ECAS status is still - 'application received' and my documents/photos, submitted at the time of application, are not returned yet.

Any idea what is going on?

Thanks.

Don't worry, Singapore will send you a separate letter requesting for your passport and other forms. They will also return your documents and photos.

So it seems like the requirements varies for everyone even if they are from same country..i and my brother sponsored our spouses together (they are in bangladesh)...my husband received email to only submit his passport along with schedule A and 4 photographs where as my sister-in-law had to include current police clearance and as well as updated copy of Schedule A background declaration (IMM566E)

In both emails they indicated that medical will expire on whatever date and requested documents and passport should be sent within 30days. In fact, it clearly says in my husbands email that if he wants to come prior to medical expires, he must send all the required documents ASAP or else they will send the instructions for re-medical.

I guess you are right. I sponsored my wife from Bangladesh, and she received an email from cic asking for re-med along with passport and submission deadline is 60 days. that's weird how it varies for same thing.

Hello everyone.

Can anyone please tell me, if I file tax this month for the first time in Canada, then after how many months will I be able to get the option-c printout?

Please answer. Thanks.

as soon your file is assessed, you can request one, could take two to three months, depends how busy and how complicate your file is?
