does anybody know what Registry-ref or rev means?

after an officer finishes his/her initial review..file is then kept at a registry for final review..

thus registry-rev means itz kept a registry where all files are kept which need final review..

the manager/officer is gona take tht file from there and assign an officer for final review...

after that is that officer checks off, ecas go in process and later u get ppr/remed etc

Application was accepted and forwarded to singapore in May 2013.

and Finally yesterday, Januray 10 2014- my husband received an email to submit his passport along with few documents.
It took exactly 9 months to hear back from them.

your one is fast i am march applicant 2013 quiet same time line as yours, can you explain it in details please. Like your time line aor recievd and all. thanks in advance

Hey...... Sohana....today I got a letter from SVO they asked for medical, police clearance, background form fill and passport rq after 6 weeks

22 Months from application filed date...after so much waiting..my wifes Ecas Shows "Decision Made"

VFS notified that her passport has been dispatched..

Safe to say its good news ? i guess.... Ecas changed on Jan1st 2014 lol

Hi ALL:

Sorry for delayed response. As per ECAS "Decision Made" or Visa issued on December 30, 2013. Passport with VISA is sitting at VAC, Dhaka since January 06, 2014. Planning to fly sometime in late January or early February. Good luck to all of you and wish you very happy New Year 2014. It has been a long 'waiting' journey ended in a New Year note! All the pains are over now. However, will remember for a long period of time in life. Right guys?

Processing went through so fast! Did you send any kind of recommendation letter with your application?

no ..my app did not include any letter of recommendation. I and my husband filled out all the forms according to the guidelines and gathered all the documents as they instructed as well...didn't do anything different.

congrats..some application are fast tracked.they have qouta of selecting some lucky application and process it quick..they wana bring down the 28 month timeline..so some application wil be processed really quickly..

when i applied i had few friends who applied with mu wife..they got ppr in 6 months..

But other applicants dont get ur hope to high..it doesnt mean all applicants will be lucky..some will be lucky and some wil follow regular timeline
