Stop thinking, it will be good if you are able to visit Bangladesh it will release pressure.
My friend wife did interview on 29 Feb now her file goes in process.

I wish your husband get interview letter as soon as possible. End of this month you may get second interview letter.
My friend sponsored her wife about one year later. First question was asked why it was delay. So start preparation now.
I hope and wish you get some answer.

Hi mirjahan,

did your wife pick up the passport from CHC, Dhaka?
How was the experience?

CHC Dhaka called her at 11AM told her that passport is ready and can pick up passport at anytime between 1PM-4PM. She picked up same day. She told me was not long about 10 minutes.
When you wife received PPR , did they ask for picture?

I really need some advice. As my husband has the military background it will take long time for PR. So, is there any way I can separate my son's application now so that he gets PR as early as possible and join me here. It's now six months I don't see my son. I wish I could celebrate his second birthday.

Some time they just check standard background check which doesn't take long. For who has military background they do full background check and which takes little longer.
This topic from Skill Worker section has better explain about background check.

She received PPR on Mar 11, 2012. No pictures. She submitted sameday. They said its gonna take 8 weeks.
They returned all pics.

They didnt ask for any new photo(not more than 6 months old for visa)...is that normal?

For my wife they did not ask for picture neither. They told my wife too will take about 4-8 weeks. For us took exactly 4 weeks.

My wife was told by CHC that she will receive a letter. didnt mention about phone call to collect passport.
Was that the case in your situation?
