im afraid coz one of my frined live in toronto applied for spoue 3 times nd got rejected thrice and his spouse was pregnant last time.

It has been almost 29 calendar days since SVO receive the passport for visa stamping. Still no update from SVO OR VFS in Bangladesh. I need your advice. Thank you.

You mean his spouse got rejected three times for spouse sponsorship, and this isn't a visitor visa you're talking about? His application or relationship history must be really poor if he is unable to convince CIC that his relationship is genuine for a 3rd time.

Sorry that you got interview, but the "good news" is that you won't have to wait 24 months for the interview, it's more around 12-15 months, based on what people are telling me from Singapore VO. You will get a letter that tells you that it's going to be approximately 24 months for the interview, but it won't be that long. You need to order GCMS notes now to see what concerns they have about your relationship and be prepared to address them.

Since it will be quite a while before your interview, I suggest you should consider maybe visiting your husband for a few weeks, get some pics and other relationship evidence, and bring it to the interview to prove your relationship is genuine. Also it will be good for you as well to see him again.

There's really not much you can do after you've sent it out, just wait another week or so.

I did see one applicant apply sept 15 and had their interview held in June this year so maybe it won't be too long.

I believe she was Bangladeshi as well.

Man this news has me paranoid now too as my wife and I applied 3 weeks behind Jupiter and AOR2 is only 16 days apart.

It varies

A number of applicants got the letter within 2 or 3 months and a couple now it's been at the 6 month mark

yeah 6 months taken to assess to hav doubt on relationship, nyways, i think u guyz ll hav smooth processes. some ll hav bad luck like me. i heard som bangladeshi r going thru interview processes. i know one person of my distant relative who had a fake marriage becoz of money and got USA spousal visa within one year!! i have question for the, r they really able to judge between the genuine and fake one!! seems like genuine one getting interview queues and facing problems to hav longer waiting.

mikeymike, yes 3 times spousal visa rejected tht why my friend is coming back home country. they had a big wedding ceremonies and lots of facebook activities together . dont know what coz them to b rejected

Took us 5 weeks to get passport back and we had an urgent flag for medical expiring soon. So don't worry, SVO is working as slow as usual lol

I too have an urgent red flag bout medical expiring soon. In fact everything is expiring soon... my passport has about 14 months left ... my TRV extension is until 30 Sep. I hope they don't take 5 6 weeks...

Passport request yesterday. The email comes with clear instructions on what to send and how to send. As i have been in Canada for over 3 months i could send to Ottawa by Canada post. So that's a relief.
Submitted my passport. Hope for the best.
