Thanks BonManush! What is the processing time for Singapore LVO for Spousal Sponsorship now?

Even though this is the thread for SVO, most of us are here with Spousal cases. You're better off here:

Isn't parents sponsorship taking somewhere between 4-7 years? Did they change things recently? Are you really expecting to get parents visa within the year? I'm honestly interested.

For straight forward apps it hovers between 6 and 10 months typically.

Where did you get the info from vnexpress? But you are probably right... the processing speed is so fast for Singapore LVO now. I am pretty sure yours is coming up soon too. Keep me updated on your progress :)

As of right now, the backlog for PGP in Singapore has significantly been reduced to the level that they can process files as soon as they come. The inventory is much smaller now compared to the old days. So yes, parents do wait less than 1 year to get visas from Singapore now.

Singapore is inviting PGP files submitted in 2015 and 2016 for medical requests. You can check those threads :) Since the beginning of this year, most visa offices do not carry PGP backlog anymore. Singapore only has less than 1,000 people waiting in PGP right now so about 500 files.

After medical request, typically how long until a visa is issued? Does anyone here actually know any forum members whose parents actually got their visas or PPR in just a year?

Thanks for the info. Has anyone here ordered GCMS notes? Would you like to share with us what information you get in your GCMS notes? Thanks.

ImABule- may be they are still trying to get rid of 2015 backlogs. Ours took 7 months, you are still at 6 month time frame, and have submitted a heck lot more proof than we did. If anything, once they start working on it, should be a smooth ride

Thank you for your kind words.

I submitted so much proof because of our relationship profile though. Some of you have spent a lot more time with your spouse than I have or are even living overseas with them. I met my wife online through a friend a month after a previous relationship with my daughters mother ended and I married my wife on the second visit. There is also a 9 year age gap, she's early twenties, I'm early thirties, her family is deeply Islamic and my family is not at all religious. I converted to marry her. There were several what can be considered flags that we addressed head on and that's why I also threw the book at them with the proofs.

Congrats BTW, please update with landing story.

Hi

As far as I know a courier needs someone to physically sign for the package and so the courier shouldn't have even agreed to deliver to a PO Box...

We used EMS when we sent docs to svo PO box

Hello All,

I need some advice re: how to courier to SVO. Has anyone used Fedex, DHL etc. to deliver? Which address did you use in that case? As I will be sending docs from Canada, I don't have much options other than these large courier service which normally don't deliver to PO Box address.

1) P.O. Box 845. Robinson Road Singapore 901645
or
2) One George Street, #11-01, Singapore 049145
