Can someone please help me? When I am in the "case specific enquiry" I fill everything out and get an error persay. When I enter my email it says "must be entered Name @ domain.xyz"

Singapore. No passport they just sent back all the proof.

What the hell is going on? Does this mean an interview now? Why would they request her passport and then not give her a visa I don't understand?

Is it normal for them to request passport and send an interview letter back with the passport? I'm completely devastated.

your case seems pretty unique...svo found sumthing in ur passport which they have doubts with...can u recall any red flags?

when they asked for her passport..what email/letter say? for example my wife letter mentioned "visa ready to be issued"

Double check what info u gave them..do u have a copy of the forms u filled...i have seen a case before sumwhere where passport was asked then interview letter was sent...svo suspected of misrepresentation

Here is what I found in this forum for GCMs notes:

GCMS notes is a copy of the information that the immigration officers have SO FAR entered on their system concerning your wife's file. It's through the Access to Information Act. You go to this site https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/welcome.do and follow the links. Your wife will need to fill out a form allowing you (a Canadian) to access her information. Most likely, this means she will need to print off a copy, sign it, scan it, and email it back to you.

It costs $5 and you will receive the notes electronically or by mail (up to you) in 30 days.

They take some getting used to when trying to read them. After 4 months, it will likely not say much other than whether they believe your relationship is genuine and whether they recommend an interview or not. It should also indicate if there are any preliminary red flags on your application. Much of the notes are in Immigration code (it's part of the game) so you will probably need to spend some time deciphering some abbreviated terms.

You can apply for GCMS Online. As a SPONSOR, you will be applying for information of your wife's PR file on behalf of her. Follow the below procedure:

1. Fill up the form:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5563E.pdf

2. Tell your wife to fill up, sign, scan and send you back the consent form:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5744E.pdf

3. Fill up the online application:
https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/

Attachments: Attach the following documents with the online application
The two forms of above.
Give a copy of your PR card or CoPR
Give a proof of Canadian address (e.g. Bank letter or Hydro letter or Income Tax letter showing your Canadian address)

At the end of the application, you will be forwarded to the payment option, you need to pay $5 with credit card.

any idea for any one how long it take from singapore to dhaka vfs for passport to get back?

I chatted last night with VFS dhaka they said after passport dispatch it take 4 days to get call from VFS to pickup passport.

Few minte ago singapour office mail me as
"We require a copy of the sponsor's passport with the bio page and pages showing his travel to Bangladesh to visit as well as marry his spouse"

Can anyone help me wht docoment we need to submit.....and my passport also change as my previews possport pages are finish is their any problem ????

Did your ecas change to in process?? I think you just have gave them photocopy of the passport pages and proof of sponsor visiting, best would if you have tickets boarding card, stumps on passport pages....I think that would give you a little help..

Sgvo doesn't seem to follow any of the usual SOPs and processing times.... Weird...

I have submitted GCMS and case specific enquiry. Hopefully I get to see some light at the end of tunnel soon. It's been a long long wait. Right now even a status change will brighten my day a bit!!

Very sorry to hear about what happened!! I don't think what happened to you is normal....usually when they request an applicant's passport, that means the interview has been waived. It's VERY bizarre.

You really should contact your MP to find out why your wife needs to attend an interview. Just do that and let us know it goes...and I sincerely hope that the interview letter was mistakenly sent...!! All the best mate!
