Does it mean they will return passports in end April or may? Does anyone get back their passport without decision made status?

Some people do get their passport (and visa) returned while their status was still "In Process".

My wife's eCAS status changed to "Decision Made" 10 days ago, and she still hasn't got back her passport though (it arrived in Singapore about 41 days and 3 hours ago). Getting a little worried here......hmmmmmm...

From other timelines I've figured it takes around 3-4 weeks to get your passport back after decision made... So I believe the 30 days for processing means the decision made part not the time they take to send it back....

Yes I pray and hope so.

I also got a reply from SVO 2 weeks ago saying that my wife's file was pending final review. So can I expect SVO will now concentrate on her medical report and police certificate? How do you know it?
The was transferred to SVO on 01 August 2013.
Ecase is still 'application received'. When can I expect to get her passport request, generally speaking?

I observe that when they issue PPR or issue Visa they issues couples visas in couple of weeks. I think they are now busy issuing other type of visas urgent right now like student visa for coming May semister. At the end of April or Begining of May they will be free from these student visa work and hopefully will engage in issuing family type visa including Spousal visa. At present they are not issuing any PPR or Visa to spouses.

Hope best for you all including me.

Canada released a news report not too long ago that said they are trying to focus on family visas because they want to give Canada the image that they reunite families I believe they have a separate section for student and family visas so hopefully the student visa rush doesn't effect us

So you have been waiting for about 8 months now? I got a reply from Singapore I'm my 12th month for remed and police certificate , although it may vary for different people I believe that you might have to wait a little longer ... Hopefully they are getting faster and this is not the case. After the remed request we got the PPR in the mail about a week later and had to wait six weeks to send it in according to the instructions. I think it is too early to tell for you whether you will get a PPR or not you have to order notes and check whether you are a recommend pass for interview first , because if you require an interview they inform you of this before a PPR

Yes let's hope they're still processing family visas in parallel with student visas.

It's kind of unfortunate that in addition to processing student visa applications of Singaporean citizens, the Singapore office also processes student visa applications from Bangladesh, Brunei, and Malaysia, which is probably why there are delays...

How do you guys figure out what exactly they are working in the office? like busy processing student visas?

Do you have friends working there or it is just a plain guess?

just checked in this forum, it seems that last year, quite a numbr of passports were returned with visa in early april, hope it happens soon....

Hello All,

Its been one month and 14 days as of today, afte SVO received my passport. No updates on ecas. I was just wondering, what was written in the email that you got the ppr, as I see there are a number of people here who says they are waiting for decision made after they send in their passport to SVO. In mine it said that I had to send in three passport size photographs and fill up some forms along with the statement "We are ready to issue your visa". Since they already wrote that shouldnt we be less worried as to whether they are going to give the visa on the passports or can they still decide against issuing visa after requesting for passports?

Anyways till now I am quiet relaxed, given someone mentioned here it may take up to three months in the worst cases. Let me know when to start panicking :) ?
