Pending spousal sponsorship, to obtain visit visa to Canada, what are the most important documents, papers etc. the applicant must provide towards an affirmative result? Any suggestions from any member? Thank you.

You are best to wait until Stage 1 has been approved
You must show travel history, applicants must show strong ties to home country such as owning a home or land
The biggest thing you must indicate is that you are applying with Dual Intent... that you won't overstay your TRV and jeopardize your PR application

We also included a letter of invitation... very detailed
And enough funds to cover the length of the "visit"

you should never use Canada Post for anything...i heard they are very incompetent. i heard horror stories from my friend with his visa...I sent my wife's passport by UPS and received an email from UPS that it was delivered to 1 george street and it was delivered to receptionist named Pritti. I haven't heard anything yet from Singapore. Will email them next week (3 week).

so if it is thats the case than they better accept the their recognition of becoming doctor engineer in other country, and please thn stop people coming in canada who doesnt speak english, it makes me laugh to read about it because major colleges in alberta is making money through doing ESL classes. please i wish the comment section open so i could have speak up and say something about it .

Mine will be exactly 3 weeks tomorrow, which I think a bit early to expect anything.
But the trend I saw within 20/25 days something happens and I see a lot of people sent PP around Feb/Mar.

Dear friends,
Can you please give me an idea how long it may take to get the application status updated from "Application received" to "In Process"? The CIO received my application on 23 January. The SVO received it on 13 February and they received the medical as well.

Have you ordered your notes to see what is happening with your file?

I know of another applicant from Dec/2012 who just rec'd notes and it is still waiting for review by visa officer
