Hi Guys,

I just want to share the news that I've got my passport request from the Singapore office - ;D

it said - we are ready to issue you with the visa and to submit my passport within 60 days -

I'm going to London for a few weeks and once i return back to Singapore I'll hand-in the PP for visa issuance -

Hang in their you guys, you all will get you're approvals soon it's just a waiting game which lasted 8months in all for me -

@ hello-kitty - i got a letter, i think they only send letters and not emails unlike other offices!!

Canadian postal strikes might delay letters reaching you're side of the world - good luck!!

Congrats man. When did the ecas show your application as "in process" before it was approved?

We received your application for permanent residence on November 15, 2010.

We started processing your application on June 14, 2011.

The info above is CanadainEnforcer's timeline.
I think he got a letter before us because he submitted application before us( October6,2010), which is make sense.

I think our letters is coming soon.

Well october 6th was probably his first application (sponsor's)? and then he had the file transfer listed as being in November, so after the time in the mail his application was probably recieved in late november and probably changed to "in process" not much longer before ours did. But surely they listed his application as "recieved" and "in process" before ours.

So, wait... October 6th is when they first accepted/received the application? Or Decision Made on becoming a sponsor?

well, my wife didnt get the email, i did, what i did was she did her interview on may 24 2011, IO said they will send her mail in 2 weeks for next procedure, and she got it exactly 10 days later to do a RE-MED. since letter was received late friday night, she did her medical on monday at IOM and they mailed it off on Wednesday June 15 2011, and i emailed Singapore on June 28 2011, and they emailed me back in an hour and said they received the medical and told me to tell my wife to fill out the attached form and send it with her passport, and that document said WE ARE READY TO ISSUE YOUR VISA. so she took it to IOM and they helped her fill it out and mailed it with her passport and they said IOM should get it back within 3 weeks. hope this helps.

and hope everyone that is near the stage we are at will hear something soon.
