I'm not trying to be a downer but we just went in process Nov 12 and the request to remedical etc 2 days ago. That was the first I'd heard from immigration since Singapore received our application and acknowledged so two years ago. It doesn't seem to often take that long, but be prepared to wait. We applied in August 2011. It's possible to finish much faster and good luck in this regard, but don't count on it and make yourself crazy. It takes 30 days and $5 to get an answer if you are the Canadian person to ask and have the permission form filled out by the sponsored applicant. Get then to fill it out on smart phone and send it to you or print it, fill it out, and email a pic the Canadian can upload with the application. Otherwise it's more money and take longer. Did you get the Canadian to apply with applicants permission form? If so you are overdue and should contact them. If not I think it's 90 days? Can't remember. Check the site.tuntuni said:
Access to information is avail to Canadian citizens for $5 with a 30 calendar day waiting period. However it requires the permission form of the applicant which you have to upload. Hi Sama2012, in your letter from SVO, did they say that after 6 weeks of remedical, if they do not contact us (which means our medical result is passed), then just send the passport with other docs to them.
