Congrats AKHI :)
I am not surprised you received your PPR... they wouldn't ask for a remedical if they weren't going to approve the application :)
Let's hope they pick up speed on getting the passports back to applicants !!!

Next up shiny visa and COPR

Hi everybody..

So happy to share with you that i have reached almost the end of my journey!! Got my passport back with visa and COPR yesterday .. About 17 months total processing time. About 1 months extra for passport transit, since I am in Canada now with visitor visa, and was foolish enough not to include a prepaid courier envelope for return..

Now have to do the landing.. And then it would be all done

Wishing a speedy completion of all our cases in this forum!

Hi TamTam

Congrates, but y urs took long time since in process to the end almost 9 months ..... :o

Yea I know., it took 17 months which is pretty long. My file went into process in jan, 6 months after the file went to Singapore in July. After that, they sent back all our photos in march'13. I think they were done with the processing then - bcoz they sent the photos back..

But then nothing, till I sent them an email in June to inform them of my change in address. Then immediately 1 day after the email, I got remedical and ppr.

I think they fell asleep in the middle... Or sth I don't know..

If anyone from Bangladesh got their Passport back with Visa (spousal category), then please share the time it took to get the Passport back after sending it to Singapore.

My Friend's wife got her passport back on yesterday September 17th. Passport was sent on August 25th. It took around 24 days. Not bad :)

I hope so ,
11 weeks passed since remedical.

Hi Samkh,

Maybe you can order GCMS notes to see what's going on? 11 weeks since remed sounds long.....maybe SVO "forgot" to send ppr because they thought they sent it with re-med request (which wouldn't surprise me)

Hi goodman36,

I am not from Bangladesh but from Vietnam and I just got letter TODAY from CIC that Visa is stamped in my wife's passport and to pickup on Monday in Vietnam. It took us around 2 weeks after we drop passport)

We did not expect to received so soon since IOM (Where we dropped passport) said it would take 6 weeks to have PP back "well what a pleasant twist and surprise! :) "
