Yes I believe you have Visa, otherwise why would they return the passport. Sometimes they don't update the in process thing. My friend's status is also in process even though his wife has landed in Canada. So don't worry, I am pretty sure you got it my friend.

does anyone know if a family member of the sponsored spouse is illegal or was deported from another country wuld affect the sponsored person in any ways, i was wondering since they take info about the sponsored persons family.

Hello all,

Just wanted to share that my wife and I just got back from Singapore yesterday. We submitted her passport Monday morning and received it back with the visa and all the other documents needed for landing on Thursday morning : ) Will be leaving Thailand in about 2 weeks and will finally be on our way home at last

Total time from Singapore receiving the application to visa being issued: 16.5 months
