Hello All Singapore Applicants,

I just got some good news from my wife and would like to share with you all, she just received a package from Singapore Visa Office this morning (Oct 8th) asking her to re-medical and submitting her Passport.

Here is my timeline after 14 months:

- Application mail to CPC-Mississauga August 8th , 2011. ECA= Application Received
- AOR Received by CPC-Mississauga August 9th , 2011. ECA= Application Received
- File Transfer to Singapore November 7th , 2011. ECA= Application Received
- September 19th 2012. ECAS= In Process
- October 8th 2012 request to re-medical & submitting Passport.

Can anyone let me know what the next step is?

after that we gonna sail in the same boat..i submitted my passport last sept 19 until now still waiting for there call to pick it up..

@ Shiny: The funny thing is that each time i send an email to Singapore with my email ID , they never reply but whenever i do it with my husband's email Id (its exactly the same txt bt diff email id)it seems to be more effective lolz i dont really understand their way of selecting emails to reply back /their way of working. :S But ya theres nothing special, i always to try to ask more than one thing and in between tht i also ask abt the status. like the first time i asked if my file was received in singapore cuz they made a mistake and send it to ottawa and along with tht question i also ask if it was possible to know the status of it. and the second time i sent extra doc( renewal of passport and skype) so i asked if they received the additional doc and took the chance to ask abt the status also.lol

I applied in dec 6 2011
I gt the approval letter feb 2 2012
Then my file gt lost- they sent to Ottawa instead of Singapore, it took them 3 months to figure out and to send it back to Singapore
File was received in june 2012 in singapore
My first email was toward the end of june 2012 and they said its at paper screening stage
And recently have sent another email in which they said it is queued for review

It is a never ending wait

Does anyone know if there is any diff between paper screening stage and queued to be review?or is it the same thing?

ohhhhhhhhhhh thats the secret lol well on my husband pr app. he didnt have any email id, now that he has i didnt put on the tvr app. last time cuz then theyll send every letter on it so i was scared it would be lost or deleted..n this time too i didnt put his email id. I guess they like to reply to the sponsored person hiihi

everyone please pray my husband will submit his tvr in couples of hours! am already freaking out lol hope it works! this time. hope the officer have mercy on us! this is the biggest gift my little girl can have her father with her at her birth! tonight am having a night shift i will be freaking the whole night out.....i will be freaking until the day the officer call for the news..i will spend the next couples of days freaking.. :lmaooo ;D

Btw, didn't your friend submitted your passport in person? Then why its taking longer than 3 days?

I have submitted my passport along other documents to VFS & SVO received it on 3 OCT.

yeap..they just give my friend a note/claim slip that they are goin to call me when it is ready to pick up..maybe bec.. i am not the one personally gives it
