SIN not received

Hi, i have applied for new SIN. Went in person to service canada on mar17 but they are unable to issue my SIN and said that there need some details from immigration. They were telling the same from the beginning and mentioning that agent is working on it. Tried to call immigration but call is not getting connected due to high volumes. Can anyone please let me know what should be done now.

same thing happened with me, I have been waiting now for about 6 weeks.
