Hi friends,
We are 5 family members,2 adults and 3 kidz of 2,8 & 9 years old....
Do we all hav to go Sin office to make five sin cards?
As I hav booked my room in a hotel ,where all local calls inside Canada are free.I want
to know cheap calling cards to call from Toronto to Pakistan and Saudi arabia?
Hope experts will guide me..............

I think that you can go without Kids. BUT I will recommend you take them with you so that you can get the procedure done quickly and without any extra documents. Everyone is issued a Separate SIN Number/Card (you will get it later after about 10-15 days).

Otherwise here is what is given on CIC Website:

Applying for someone else
Parents or legal guardians applying for a child

Children who are 12 years of age or older can apply for their own SINs. However, parents or legal guardians can also apply on behalf of a child under the age of majority in their province.
Here's what you'll need if you are applying on behalf of a child in person at a Service Canada Centre:

- your SIN or your original documents;
- the child's original documents;
- an original document or certified copy of a document that confirms your legal guardianship, if you are a legal guardian (in Quebec, a notarized will is an acceptable document); and
- the $10 fee, if required.

I found use http://www.localphone.com/,I find it very cheap and convenient. You can also buy calling cards for 2$ and up at any convenience store
