We landed in Jan 2013. My wife and kids are now Canadian citizens. I had been traveling in and out all last 5 years.
My PR card expires 11 Feb 2018
I was in Canada for 670 days physically in the last 5 years (currently I am in Canada)
I have two small business running in Canada (for which I also had to travel overseas).

Question:
1. I am applying for PR Card renewal counting 670 days physically present and others while traveling for Canadian business. Is that ok?

2. Can I also simultaneously apply for Citizenship as if I add my travel days for business, I easily cross 1095 days altogether.

Please advise

Thanks

1) No, that is not ok. Your days "travelling for business" do not qualify.

2) No. Citizenship is based on physical presence only. You will not qualify as you don't even meet the Residency Obligation requirements, let alone the physical presence required to apply.

Out of interest assume the OPs 670 days include the day they left the country and the day the entered back into the country given those days even if partial days count as physical presence.

Of course only having 670 days when applying to renew a PR card could even start the revoke process so not advisable to have any contact with any government department until RO met.
