Hi guys
I have finished a joint program from Carleton university and Algonquin college. The program was from 2013 to 2018 so 5 years. The program is managed by Carleton university. during the 5 years, I took about 60% of the courses in Carleton and 40% at Algonquin college. I would go to both schools different days of the week depending on the semester schedule. I graduated and they gave me a bachelor degree from Carleton and an advanced diploma from Algonquin. Those two are two separate documents. The also gave me the official transcripts which is one single documents that lists all the courses I took in both schools with their grades. The transcript says this is a joint program with collaboration between Algonquin and Carleton.
I now want to apply for express entry. If I select bachelor's degree for my education level, my CSR is 429 not enough to get an ITA. However, If I select "Two or more certificates, diplomas, or degrees, one must be for a program of three or more years", my CSR goes up to 460 which can help me get an ITA to apply for PR.
does my education qualify me to select the second option which is "Two or more certificates, diplomas, or degrees, one must be for a program of three or more years" ?
Also, is there any risk in choosing the second option rather than the first ?
please help me!
thank you
