I am sponsoring my wife and she is back home,while filling up generic application form canada I got a little bit confused. its asking me which category I am applying under ,is it going to be spouse or other relative? I know this question could be a little bit stupid but since I started filling up all these documents I m getting confused everyday . please guys help me and thank you .

another question too guys please,its asking me how many family memeber including you,does this mean just my wife or should we like say 2 persons ,me and her since I am her sponsor because we have no kids.

It would be 'spouse'. If you are only sponsoring your wife, then number of family members including you is 2.
