signature on online application

Hi everyone,
I was trying to submit an application form for my boyfriend to extend his permit..
I am into the last step, but I have tried so many times and I got a message says" Your answer is incomplete. Provide the necessary information below to continue.The name, date of birth or country of birth you entered for your signature does not match the name you entered in your Online Application. To submit this Online Application, the names must match. Only the applicant can electronically sign this Online Application.""
I cannot get the signature right..can someone please help me?
what does that mean it is not match with my application?

Why can't your boyfriend submit the application himself? Seems like you have entered your own name/DOB/country of birth in one place and your boyfriends' in another, so it sees a mismatch.
