Signature of manager on the reference letter for Ontario Human Priorities

Due to immense bureaucracy at my current company, it's quite difficult for me to get the signature of my current manager on my reference letter (not autherised, blah blah)

The reference letter is otherwise signed by HR and is printed on official company paper with the logo and everything.

Do you think it could be a problem if the signature of the named manager is not on the letter? The PDF guide clearly states that I need the signature of my current "supervisor"... God, I got every other document in no time except this one stupid reference letter, I hate bureaucracy.

I think it is ok.
If they want to confirm your job description and duties, they can call your manager.

It's mention in the info. field that either a signature of a supervisor, manager or HR person is required, so anyone of them will do.

You will have to provide a signature. That's proves the legitimacy of the document.

If the HR can sign it, that's not a problem.

Could you please let me know where you can see that it can be HR signature?

According to this document:

On page 8:
o Identify the responsible Officer/Supervisor and include his/her signature;


But you guys seem to think that it is not necessary.. I'll try again to get his signature and if I fail I'll just send anyway and hopefully it will be fine.

Remember this the application for nomination by Ontario for the Human Priorities stream after receiving an Expression of Interest. This is not the PR application.
