Signature in IMM Forms

When we fill the IMM forms, it asks for the signature on last page. I just typed my name in all my Study Permit, PGWP and i didn't have any problems. When i file for EE, do i need to print, sign, scan & upload back or simply type my name like before.

The reason i am asking this question. i red in the forum that people got rejected because of the signature.

Note: I did search similar topic, and some of them didn't provide clear answer, and that's why i started the new thread.

It cost nothing compared to risk. Just wants to verify it.

I went and bought new All in one printer yesterday. Lol!!

wait.. is there an IMM form for EE? you mean the ones which will generate bar code when you click "validate" like applying Visa, Study Permit or PGWP? In my memory, I didn't remember we have that kind of form for EE?? I remembered I just filled up the info on CIC web pages??

Oh. I didn't know that. Anyway, i needed the printer to print the scan the documents.

EE does not have any documents to be signed. It's all online and electronic sign is taken wherever required. You also don't need scanner for the documents. You can take a photo and upload them.
