sign difference of same company same person...what to do next...???

Hi all,

Stage -1(Happens in August 2017)


please help me out on this situation.share your ideas/thoughts/experience to solve this problem. this happens to one of my friend.scenario as follows

*his wife got student visa for 2 years.so he wants to go there for initial settlement of his wife and come back to sri lanka.his elder brother also Canadian citizen and he living with his family in Toronto Canada.

* then he applied for Canada visit visa and granted visa for 6 months.(single entry - applied from sri lanka)

*in the mean time he got another job offer just 1 day before visa got stamped.

* so after got the offer letter/appointment letter from the new company he gave resignation to current company.

* subsequently Canada high commission contacted him and ask to come for meeting with regard to visa fraud information.

* then Canada high commission informed him saying that your current company management informed us that you've given resignation so will cancelled you visit visa immediately.

* then he produce the offer/appointment letter of new company and explain the situation.but unfortunately they cancelled the visa and ask to re-apply for visit visa.

Stage -2 (About to start ASAP)

*hence his wife is still studying in Canada he wants to re-apply for a new visit visa ASAP.

* he has completed all the relevant document with the letter from current company saying that they will ready grant leave for the required period to him.

* suddenly he realize that there is mismatch with sign.

*that means the sign of appointment letter which he got at the beginning (the appointment letter is already submitted to Canadian high commission in the Stage -1) and the sign of recent letter he got from the company (saying that they will approve his leave for required period ) are two different signs.

* he got those two letters from his current working company and the person who signs 2 letters also same person (CEO).

* then he ask about the sign difference from the company and they says that earlier sign is misused by someone else then they change the signature of authorized person recently.

* now he is having doubt regarding the sign...will it be a problem when he re-apply the Canadian visit visa.hence to different sign of same person of a same company....

* do we have to continue with latest sign ???

* or when we re-applying, do we have to give some explanation about the sign difference???

* or continue with old sign ???


friends please share your thoughts/experience/ideas regarding this...

He should have informed IRCC about the change in his employment before the visa was stamped.

Unfortunately, the sequence of events and timeline doesn't seem to match the facts cited:
When did the visa office contact him for the employment fraud?
When was the TRV cancelled?


* then he produce the offer/appointment letter of new company and explain the situation.but unfortunately they cancelled the visa and ask to re-apply for visit visa.
Again, it does not match up/does not make sense:
If the new employment offer was genuine + as your friend had applied for a TRV then not sure why the visa officer did not accept this new appointment letter.

If the visa office had doubts about the authenticity of this letter, they would have contacted the new employer to confirm whether or not an offer of employment was issued.... instead of cancelling the visa. They probably had contacted the employer/checked from other sources before cancelling his visa.

Sorry but this story is getting more unconvincing.

IMHO, your friend is risking a 5-years ban for misrepresentation for submitting possibly fraudulent documents. He would need to be cautious before he reapplies considering he has already been flagged in the system in August 2017 for employment fraud and that's why his previous visa was cancelled.

Is your friend genuinely employed by this new employer?
What documents would he submit to prove his employment and salary?
Can someone from HR sign the leave approval letter?
