Sibling Points: Expired PR Card

Hi Friends,

My sibling's PR card and passport have expired and he has not renewed it till now. Will it create any problem in getting sibling points?

I know expired PR card does not affect the PR status. What's your opinion on this?

He is in Canada and doing Govt job.(holding PR). Though he is living there from quite a long time, he is yet to apply for citizenship.
