Hi,
I need to know if I get LOA from SIAST, will VO think that I'm just trying to immigrate to Canada? Or is it safe to apply for this college?
I was once refused under SPP.

What country are you from?

Where and why were you refused your last Study Permit?

SIAST is a good institute. Your LOA has nothing to do with VO's thinking. Other documents like financial documents, property documents etc will make the mind of VO.

Share your complete profile and exact reasons for refusals.

59% in 10th grade.
51% in 12th grade.
IELTS 6.5 with no less than 6.
Loan of 11 lac sanctioned against FDRs.
I chose diploma in accounting. Undergraduate diploma.
Reasons for refusal - a) purpose of visit.
b) not satisfied based on academic record that you possess sufficient abilities to succeed in chosen program.
Please help me INAM brother. What is the solution to this problem? I'm planning to apply under general category. I can't improve my grades now as it's too late.
And have you ever seen students getting visas with these types of grades??

I think based on your past weak academic records, VO thinks you are not a bona-fide student. You need to write a strong SOP explaining your reasons for past records and convince him that you have learnt from your mistakes. Also mention in the SOP how this qualification could benefit your career. That being said, you also have to show him strong ties to your home country giving him enough reasons to make him think that you will be coming back to your home country upon completion of your program. In my case, my father wrote me a comprehensive sponsor letter stating that I will be coming back to join my family after completion of the academic program. Hope this helps. Good luck bro.

1. The VO is not satisfied with your previous academic performance. And he thinks that as you were not a good student (based on your percentages) consequently he is doubting your true intention of your visit to Canada.

2. Yes, I have seen students on this forum getting visas with low percentages so you should reapply with strong documents.

3. Include Statement of Purpose and justify your purpose of visit. Convince the VO that you have learnt from your mistakes and you want to study and achieve excellence in your next diploma/courses. Explain why you like the intended course and what positive it will do to your career and to your home country. Why do you deserve this chance of going to Canada, Explain your strengths and highlight those subjects in which you got good grades, relate these subject to your intended courses etc. Also explain your home ties. Be very consicsie and precise. You SOP should not be longer than 1.5 pages or 1000 words.

4. Include Letter of Recommendation from your teachers (2 or 3) stating that you were a good student and above average etc and that they recommend you to study abroad etc.
