After arriving in Canada, I believe the immigration officer would like to see proof of funds available. How should one show these funds, the money is in my father's savings account. Do I need to get it transferred to my account and then take out a statement or will I have to show cash?

I need to know this too!!

I'm having cash on me, of about $100, and then a bank statement plus a reference letter from my bank.

There's hardly a chance that immigration officials will ask you to show them your financial support documents. They usually just ask to see your LoA, introduction letter given by CHC, passport, and they will ask you basic questions like what course are you going to be studying, name of your institution, where will you be living, your plans after the course etc. That's what I and many others I know were asked. I don't personally know anyone who was asked to show their proof of funds. If you still want to be on the safe side, show them the same financial documents which you showed to apply for the visa, that's all. But, there's not even a 1% chance they will be interested to see statements and all. Good luck and happy journey!

I dont think immigration officer will ask you about proof of funds.
They will just see your offer letter and the letter you got with your visa.

All the best
