Hello Folks,

This is regarding SINP EOI steps;

I'm an IT professional with 12 years of experience outside of Canada. I also have IT-related master's degree outside Canada but have similar equivalency through WES.

1. For my NOC code 2173, I know there is three type of certifications, AITP, ISP, and ITCP. which one should I go for?

2. Do I need to get CIPS membership before any one of the above?

My degree titles are "BS in Software Engineering" and "MS in Computer Engineering" and WES has awarded me MSc and BSc equivalency in one document. However, my professional experience of 15 years is a mix of "Software Developer", "Software Engineer" and recent most experience of 12 years is in "Software designer" in telecom sector. Now I want to know either I should go for a license with CIPS or APEGS? NOC code which best suitable for me is 2173 "Software Engineers and designers" and i came to know through SINP website that for software engineers we should go for APEGS and for software designers we should go for CIPS. Now I am confused about which way to proceed?
