Hello friends,

I was wondering if we should declare all of our previous work experience or only relevant experience. For example, if an engineer worked as a waiter or a call center agent for a while, then found a proper job as an engineer after that. Should he include these irrelevant first experiences into his application and get experience letters for these jobs?

Thanks a lot,

Declare everything in personal history. In work history, declare what is required for you to make you eligible.

Thank you so much for your answer. I am applying as a bookkeeper, but when I was studying at university I worked as a call center agent for a while and continued to do so for a few months after my graduation. 1,5 year in total. After that, I found a proper job as a bookkeeper.

According the information you have given, I will only mention my bookkeeping experience in "work history" section of my express entry profile. I will only mention my early irrelevant work experiences in "personal history" after getting ITA. Right?

Thanks in advance.

In personal history, you need to mention everything including your current job.
