Hi,

my American husband is applying for PR status as my spouse. I read on some forums that it may be a good idea for him to include a letter in his application about how he plans to find a job, establish himself, etc. did anyone else do this?? where would this be included if so? Thanks!!

I think focusing on the genuiness of the relationship would be a better play. A sponsorship app visa officer wants to see: 1. You are eligible to sponsor 2. The reationship is genuine 3. The applicant is eligible to be sponsored.

1&3 are straightforward but 2 is very subjective. My 2 cents.

Hi

They care whether you guys can show that you can support yourselves without welfare. If your husband supports you, then you should be stating that in an explanation letter with your NOA/financial information.
