as I reapply TRV after refusal of my previous application and attached additional documents as objections in refusal letter. I applied on 5-March 2012, about 1 month ago. event date I was going to attend is start from 20 April, means after 15 days. I am not sure that CHC will decide my visa application in these 15 days or not.
I should withdraw my visa application or not because I made jewellery for this event & to save myself from loss, if I withdraw my application so I can display my jewellery in a event in sweden.
please help me that should I withdraw my application showing genuine reason of withdraw or wait & see

You should withdraw your TRV currently its taking 2 months to process TRV application (MIN 40 Working days)

if I write reason of withdraw is shortage of time invest this jewellery in other country, is there any chance that CHC return my passport with TRV?

in which country and in which city did u apply, if in India dn
processing time at CHC NEW DELHI is almost 7-12 day
CHC Chandigarh - 30-40 days

no they won't every case is based on its merit. they will take their own time (processing time) your withdraw letter will not make any difference

My TRV application is still in-process. I applied on Feb 20th. I am guessing probably by April 15 I should know. How long did it take CHC to give your passport/application back? When did you apply and when did they return the app back...

i m double minded that should i withdraw or wait and c.
this time i applied about 31 days ago.
realy very confused and can not decide that what to do???
Shaznaz plz think and gimme sincere advice
event is starting from 20 april

Honestly I dont know what else to tell you. Your experience is right infront of you (and me) . Back in 2005/06 it would only take 2-3weeks max for a TRV now its 3, 4 times the wait. If you think you can get Sweden's visa in time then apply there or else let this run its course. April 20th is very close it will be touch and go...they might decline you this time and say you applied very late and now you don't have any reason to visit Canada. You never know. You will be very lucky if you do hear from them by April 15-20th. I applied almost 2 weeks before you so if I haven't heard anything back - then I think its 'safe' to assume yo will hear about your case after april 20th.
