Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hello everyone. We applied outland (Family Class Spouse Sponsorship). My husband lives in Canada and last year i went there to visit but ended up overstaying my visa when i got pregnant, but finally i decided to came back home on my own. I'm from USA. I have been here in the USA for almost 5 months. Now my husband got approved as a sponsor! and i would like to travel back there with our son (he's canadian and american citizen) and wait there until i get PR. I have heard my husband should be with me at the immigration officer. Is this possible is too risky? will they ask me about my overstay last time?

thanks for the advices...

They may not ask you about your overstay. But there are no guarantees.

You can always attempt a crossing, make sure you carry information about your application.

Do you have any other reasons to suspect that you may have a problem entering Canada?

Thanks. No other reasons! Just worry about my previous overstay. Now everything is sent and we are just waiting for the PR. The timelines somtimes are longer so i was just wondering if i should try to go back i stay until the process end.

So when did you apply for spousal PR, did your husband get approved as a sponsor?

Looks kosher to me, if they ask you about your overstay show them the baby haha.

As Baloo said, be sure to carry your application info.
