I have done my medical, called the doctor's office and they told me the results had been sent via carrier.

On Friday, my e-CAS status had changed to "We started processing your application on September 27, 2011."

I have heard different opinions on whether or when we should contact the VO.

So my question is should I contact the VO to let them know that I have done my medical or does this seem too pushy/redundant and put them off?

Thanks for your help!

No you don't have to do anything. When the VO wants the medical results, they download them from the Immigration Regional Medical Centre.

No, you don't have to let the VO know. Your status will be changed to "medical report has been received" in your e-CAS
