Hello,
Both of us have similar education, I have 12 years of banking experience and she has 4 years of experience, both have Masters Degree.
If I apply putting her as main applicant I can get 20 extra points (for her being under 29). I have calculated our points and they come out to be 474 (she being the primary applicant).

What do I loose, if she is the main applicant?
Also, how about both of us apply separate applications (I know we still have to declare each other as spouse) and see who gets it first kind of thing.

Also, any suggestions on increasing the points?

In any scenario; either you or your wife being the Primary applicant results in approx. 474 CRS. You will get you an ITA.

474 is a highly competitive score. Just enter the pool.

There are four main things that can increase your points
1. Age - full points for applicants below 30
2. Education - Masters degree gets you more points (If you have a PhD, its even better)
3. Job Experience - If you have 3 or more years of experience, you can get full marks for it
4. IELTS score - The higher the score, the more points it fetches

Based on the information you have provided, your wife seems like a better option for the primary applicant as she gets more points for her age, and she meets the requirements for job and education as well.

Did you guys give IELTS exam? If yes, then calculate your CRS score with either of you as primary. Whoever gets the maximum points should be the primary applicant.

You can create two separate profiles as well, but I don't think that will have any benefit because the one with the higher points will be considered first.

My partner and I have two profiles with both added on as spouse's in each. My profile has 440, his has 426. Point here is that either of us could be selected for a PNP at any time as we have different skill/work history. We are waiting to see what profile is picked up first. We will not submit both profiles however if both are we t an ITA. Just keeping our options open and hoping to give each other the best chance.
