So I applied back at the very beginning of August for my PR and haven't heard anything from CIC since my fiance was approved as my sponsor. Hopefully we'll hear something soon though. Anyway I was wondering if it might be a good idea to just send off my RPRF payment before they ask for it, or should I wait for them to request it?

on CIC they say that if you pay all the fees upfront it will reduce the processing time of your application.
Also from other posts here they say that paying the fee when requested can delay the proccessing by about 3 weeks...

So I would recommend you to pay it now and send them the recipt.

If you choose to pay it On-Line be sure to put the information in exactly as your bank has it as I have heard from others here that differences between 'St.' and 'Street' can result in problems.
