I have an aunt and cousins in Canada, should I mention them or not at all ?
I was thinking that saying they can give me free housing during school vacation would be a plus to add in my SOP but some people say it's better not to talk about your family in there because the agent may suspect you won't leave canadian teritorry
(They recently got a bank loan for a new house)
If you got any idea/got accept by doing x or y please send me a message, thanks !

Will they be giving you accommodation? Can they afford to? They will need to provide proof/affidavit that are able to house. To answer your question, you don't need to declare extended family, only immediate family members.

I personally know they can afford it, but will the visa agent deem them of such ? Because they recently bought a new house and for it they took a bank loan, so maybe just because of that it may get rejected ? I should've mentionned that since the start, my bad^^

So you are not living with them during your schooling? If not, no need to mention staying with relatives on vacation.
Alright then i won't mention staying with relatives during vacation, should I still mention them tho and say I've got some family in canada, because some people say it helps with the approval and others say the complete opposite
Anyway, thank you for your answer c:

You can mention them. They are not your immediate family.
