Should I mention my past Tuberculosis in my application?

There is a section in my application which says "Within the past two years, have you or a family member ever had tuberculosis of the lungs or been in close contact with a person with tuberculosis?". I had TB 5 years ago but the application says i have to mention if i had TB in past two years. Does it make difference if I say no, as it was 5 years ago. I have mentioned my condition in my SOP.

Just answer what they're asking, if you didn't have it in the past two years just say no.
Why are you even mentioning it in your SOP? You shouldn't bring attention to negative things if they don't specifically ask for them.

It is absolutely ok. No need to tell them if you had it 5 yrs ago.
