Your best bet is to wait until you've been in a relationship for a year before you marry to strengthen your PR application, you have a huge red flag but the good news is you still have time to cancel any wedding plans and just focus om getting to know each other better first

Will the OP be applying through the Hong Kong office or the Beijing office? This depends on where your girlfriend's hometown is. Beijing is faster; through Hong Kong they are very suspicious of marriages of convenience. If she has to apply through Hong Kong, I would wait a while before applying. During the wait try to visit each other as much as possible, or get her to come to Canada on a TRV. A TRV will also be easier for her to get before she marries you.
