Should I get a lawyer?

My boyfriend and I are planning to start our Spouse Sponsorship application, but most part of the lawyers and immigration offices are quite expensive.

Is it possible to do it without a lawyer? Is anybody here doing the application by theirselves?

I had a consultant and she's part of ircc but yes you can do it on your own

as long as you can read and write and there are no major issues in your situation anyone can do their own application. Study this forum and all the answers are here.

I had used a lawyer then my app ended up 6 months delayed after that i canceled his representative and even file him a complain against him .to me , as long as you could read and write well then it should be no problem to prepare your own application . this forum is a good source to guide you if your case is not so difficult . good luck
