Greetings,

I have some tax/property declaring questions if you could advice please:

I became PR on June 2012. After landing in Canada, I stayed there for only 1 week and got back to my home country.

During my 1 week stay in Canada I got my SIN, Opened a bank account and Passed Drivers Test (Class 7 drivers licence).
I stayed in my relative's home during my 1 week stay, so I don't have any property, car, rent, nor a medical card in Canada .

1) I am considered a resident for tax purposes? Shall I declare my world-wide income tax for 2012?
2) I have a property valued 120.000 CAD in my home country. Even if I am not considered a resident for tax purposes, do I still have to declare this property before April 30 2013?
3) Is there something else I need to be aware before April 30, so I avoid any consequences or penalties in future from CRA or Customs (i.e. upon selling my home country property in future)

Thanks in advance.

No, you don't need to file any Canadian tax returns for 2012.
