Hi

I am currently pursuing post graduate certificate in Project Management. Completed one semester with 4.03/4.2 GPA and i am in the dean's honors roll.
I have bachelor degree in Mechanical ( Anna University ) with a GPA of 7.49/10 and had more than 8 GPA during that last 4 semesters

Now I want to do M.Eng in Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Engineering / Engineering Management.

Could you please suggest me the best and possible university for my previous academic performance (No GRE).

Is is worth continuing my Current Program or should I drop this course and do a Masters. ( Can save one semester fees if i drop).

I am in a state of confusion. I actually applied for Univ Windsor and got positive feedback (Visited the admission department) . Back so far what I have heard its not that great.

Tiger and other Members please respond.

Please describe clearly. I can't help you but want to know the problems. You are in Fanshawe right?

I personally think you should finish your studies first. You've already completed a semester and have got great GPA. You can always do your Masters afterwards.

I visited University of Windsor admission department and they said I have great chance of getting admission there. But what I have heard from the students in Windsor is that it isn't that great. So I thought I should ask you guys.

And about Fanshawe's Project Management (Isn't bad at all) But I am thinking of doing Master which is always better. (in a way dropping from my current program saves money).

Ya bro....But agian Time and Money makes me think think...am just soo confused

I personally think, you should complete your project management.

1. Since it's 2 semester program and you already have completed 1 semester.

2. Project management is good program and will surely add to your resume.

3. Since you are international student and not PR, your admission in universities will take time may be 3-4months or more and by that time you will already complete this course. (You are in Canada already, so you will have bit advantage)

4. Since your academics are good, try to get into good school rather than windsor.

5. Getting extension or TRV and Study permit for your masters program will be easier for you.

So start applying now into good universities.

Best of Luck.

Thank you so much bro..Could you please suggest me some which suits my profile?

And one more doubt..My IELTS will get expired on April 2014 and I am planning to apply for May 2014...Would that be a problem?

Could you mention your full academic profile once again?

Also Regarding Ielts, your decision on admission will be made before April 2014 and for study permit extension you might not need new Ielts score(confirm with who got their SP extended).

Bro ......There is absolutely no logic in wasting your first sem money and efforts. Complete the course get the certificate. This will add value to your profile.
Meanwhile keep looking for universities and programs you want to go to. Decide on one and then get SP extension and pursue the course.

Best of Luck
