Should I decline ITA due to wrong NOC code?

I just realized today that I accidentally used the wrong NOC code in my EE profile which passed the draw on Feb 5. I used 1111 but it should have been 1112, everything else on my profile is correct. Should I decline the ITA and resubmit profile with the correct NOC code? Do I need to create a new EE profile? Please share your experience if you know anyone rejected in the past only due to wrong NOC code. Much thanks!

Hi Alexis,
Would your work history include any experience having the 1111 NOC code?

Hi I submitted 6 years of 1111, when it should have been 2 years of 1111 and 4 years of 1112 instead (2 jobs). So the points I can actually claim in my letter will come from 1112 which did not appear in my submitted EE profile. I am worried.

You'll be just fine. I remember having the same predicament when filling out Express Entry profile.
I could only choose one NOC code. You will have to fill in your Work Experience for your Permanent Resident profile.
For example, I have 2 years and a half as 1112 and other experiences with other NOC codes. I only listed 1112 for Express Entry since it is the most recent and relevant code. You need not worry.

Thank you!

I am a bit afraid the fundamental difference between your case and mine is that your final application use the same code submitted in your initial profile while in my case it will be two different codes, hence some perceived inconsistency :(

You're most welcome!
My Permanent Resident application uses two codes also. One of them could not be included in the Express Entry profile as there is only one space to fill out with one code. I do believe we have a similar situation. Feel free to double-check with other applicants. :)

Perceived inconsistency is not the same as real inconsistency. If you have proof, then there might even be no inconsistency at all.
